Design Manager for Construction Projects

A leading construction company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Design Manager to join their team in the North West region. The company delivers innovative and high-quality construction projects across various sectors, including Commercial, Residential, and Industrial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process from conception to completion, ensuring project requirements and client expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and practical design solutions.
  • Manage design schedules to ensure timely delivery of design packages and adherence to project milestones.
  • Review and approve design documents to ensure compliance with building regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve design-related issues and provide technical support throughout the construction phase.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in design management within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex design projects from inception to completion.
  • Previous experience of Industrial projects is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
