Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Performance Analyst to enhance the efficiency of our supply chain operations across Great Britain and Ireland. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on optimizing the performance of the reagent and consumable supply chain, concentrating on essential performance metrics such as:
- Customer order frequency
- In-country transportation expenses
- In-country waste management costs
- Order-to-delivery timelines
- Annual logistics non-conformance expenditures
You will serve as the principal liaison for regional logistics, encompassing transportation, customs, and partnerships with shipping and warehousing entities. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring effective local transportation and distribution of inventory to customers in Great Britain and Ireland, while monitoring performance and proactively addressing issues.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, including commercial and ordering departments, to develop a comprehensive and effective supply chain strategy. This includes managing scheduling agreements, creating local contingency plans, and preparing for potential service disruptions.
- Utilizing data analytics to enhance supply chain processes and acting as the coordinator between global headquarters and the region regarding supply disruption risks and events. You will effectively manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in logistics, business administration, or have several years of experience in a similar analytical role.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in IT software, including Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and Knime.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for process enhancement and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes.
