Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Officer to join our client's team in South Wales. As a Financial Risk Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial risk within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and produce analytical reports to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Finance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on risk management practices and procedures.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies as required to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to drive business growth and success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations in the Financial Services industry.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
