About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic payroll team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing large volume payroll processes, ensuring compliance with internal and statutory obligations, and providing an exceptional service to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparation and processing of multi-site payrolls for 2500+ employees
  • Ensure accurate payslips are produced and distributed on a timely basis
  • Assist with payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations, including Pensions and Weekly RTI submissions
  • Maintain and update payroll records
  • Liaise with HR on staff appointments, terminations, remuneration, condition of service, and other relevant matters
  • Liaise with Managers/Team Leaders on wages and other related queries
Requirements:
  • 6-12 months experience as a payroll administrator or similar
  • Experience of operating weekly high volume payrolls in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of payroll procedures/processes
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and relevant payroll packages
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data
  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, analyse reports, and reconcile data
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
