Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team at KP Snacks' Ashby site. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will provide a comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and maintenance engineering service to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain production and ancillary equipment, property, and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with production requirements.
  • Create and maintain accurate maintenance records, including PPM schedules and data entry.
  • Act as host for contractors, ensuring safe working practices and necessary documentation.
  • Provide engineering assistance to production teams, improving their capability and knowledge of equipment.
  • Identify and analyze problems, implementing solutions to prevent repeat failures.
  • Adhere to food quality management systems, retailer-specific technical standards, and health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering, ideally multi-skilled.
