Porter Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Porter to join our team at Medirest, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer care to our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in public areas, including the lobby and other designated spaces.
- Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff in setting up rooms and moving furniture as required.
- Handle reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets and making restaurant reservations, as needed.
- Respond to customer requests and provide assistance where possible.
- Run errands and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Ensure the safety of customers by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or other hazards.
- Be adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles or similar environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions that prioritize customer satisfaction.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
