Job Summary:

A leading Tier 1 organisation in the construction industry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead and support the Commercial team on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Commercial team on projects from pre-construction to project delivery
  • Work alongside the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management of projects
  • Manage commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to final account agreement
  • Negotiate final account agreements to ensure the best possible outcome

Requirements:

  • HNC / HND in Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager working with a regional or national contractor
  • Good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
  • Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Strong mathematical and IT skills
  • Negotiating and networking skills
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
