About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our busy Radiology Department as a Waiting List Booking Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in all duties relevant to the day-to-day operations within the Radiology waiting list/appointments office(s) and assisting the department with regards to all waiting list management issues.

Main Responsibilities

The Waiting List Booking Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Participating in all duties relevant to the day-to-day operations within the Radiology waiting list/appointments office(s)
  • Assisting the department with regards to all waiting list management issues
  • Liaising with patients, colleagues, clinicians, and nursing staff
  • Providing excellent customer service skills
  • Dealing with sensitive and confidential documents and situations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (to include English and Mathematics) or equivalent qualifications/or appropriate previous experience
  • Sufficient administrative and clerical experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of using computer packages such as Excel and Word
  • Organized and methodical approach
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner
