Job Title: Parenting Assessment Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Parenting Assessment Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily running and supervision of our Parenting Assessment Centre.

About the Role:

The Parenting Assessment Manager will be responsible for managing a team of social workers who carry a caseload of up to 3 families, prioritizing long-term support. This will involve completing assessments and reports within deadlines, chairing meetings, and maintaining positive relationships with involved professionals and agencies.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading specific parenting programs, providing statements and court evidence when necessary, handling referrals, and facilitating placement planning meetings. They will work towards achieving and sustaining positive outcomes for children and families in their communities, while fulfilling statutory duties in alignment with National Standards and Regulations.

Requirements:
  • Hold a degree or equivalent in social work
  • Ideal experience of managing or supervising social workers
  • Maintain current SWE registration
  • Demonstrate experience in specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks
  • Show proficiency in parenting programs and safeguarding practices
  • Exhibit confidence in providing court evidence
