Job Title: Transport Team Leader Nights
Job Summary:
Fresh Direct is seeking a highly skilled Transport Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transport Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing drivers' rotas, ensuring efficient route planning, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage drivers' rotas, including route planning and holiday cover
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records, including Tachograph and system checks
- Work closely with the Distribution Manager to achieve business objectives
- Provide administrative support to the Transport Management team
Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience in a transport environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment
- Knowledge of the Working Time Directive
