About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at Park Property Management Inc. As a Community Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our residents feel good about where they live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a Strong Sense of Community: Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience and promote a sense of community among residents.
  • Respond to Resident Inquiries: Respond to all inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns from residents in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Accountable for Day-to-Day Activities: Accountable for day-to-day activities related to resident services, service providers, and contractors.
  • Ensure Effective Communication: Ensure effective communication with residents, consistent with their expectations.
  • Maintain Good Resident Relations: Maintain good resident relations, handling and documenting resident complaints and any emergencies in the building.
  • Partner with Marketing and Leasing: Partner with Marketing and Leasing on overall resident experience strategies at the property.
  • Provide Input for Planning and Budgeting: Provide input for planning and budgeting, inclusive of annual budget preparation, reforecasts, management plans, performance reports, and variance reports.
  • Work with Colleagues: Work with colleagues to coordinate month-end duties and responsibilities, including suite pre-inspection, and scheduling of contractors and staff for turnover of suites.
  • Perform Regular Inspections: Perform regular and proactive inspections of the property and make recommendations as required.
  • Conduct Market Surveys: Conduct regular market surveys, analyzing competition and identifying market trends for the purpose of providing input and recommendations on pricing and strategy.
  • Educate Residents: Educate residents, when appropriate, on the rules and regulations of the property.
  • Complete Weekly/Monthly Reports: Complete weekly/monthly reports as required.
  • Organize Resident Events: Organize resident events/activities aligned to the resident base to increase customer loyalty.
  • Support Team Goals: Supports team goals, objectives, operations, and strategy for properties outlined by management.
Requirements
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Management Experience: 3+ years of management experience with multiple reports.
  • Education: College education in a business or related field, university degree considered an asset.
  • Property Management Designation: Completion of (or working towards) Property Management Designation considered to be an asset.
  • Leadership Abilities: Leadership abilities that inspire others.
  • Integrity and Discretion: High degree of diplomacy, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
