We are partnering with a leading provider of construction services with a strong presence in the data centre sector across Europe. They are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Health & Safety Officer to join their dynamic team.

Health & Safety Officer - Data Centre Construction

This role requires extensive travel across our data centre projects in Europe, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are adhered to by site personnel.

Risk Assessments and Audits:

  • Perform detailed risk assessments and safety audits on construction sites.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address any identified safety issues.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety measures.

Training and Education:

  • Conduct health and safety training sessions for site staff and subcontractors.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters.

Policy Implementation:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards and ISO guidelines (preferred but not essential).
  • Keep up to date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • NEBOSH certification is required.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in the construction industry with on-site experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.
