We are seeking a highly skilled Net Zero External Communications Lead to join our team at Centrica Plc. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic communications plan to support our Net Zero objectives.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-impact thought leadership activity, working with agency partners, and managing PR and agency budgets. You will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship management skills, able to facilitate engagement with senior stakeholders and manage conflicting priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic communications plan to support our Net Zero objectives
- Deliver high-impact thought leadership activity, including writing communications and identifying and delivering on campaign activity
- Work with agency partners to develop and execute PR campaigns
- Manage PR and agency budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
- Facilitate engagement with senior stakeholders, including leadership teams and external partners
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact thought leadership activity
- Experience working with agency partners, specifically comms campaigns & PR
- Strong relationship management skills, able to facilitate engagement with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to write compelling content
- Ability to manage PR and agency budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
