Estimator/ QS Opportunity

A well-established Civil Engineering contractor based in Co. Antrim seeks an experienced Estimator/ QS to join their Commercial team. The company operates in various sectors, including road maintenance, civil engineering, public realm, and demolition.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide accurate and reliable commercial information to management through regular reporting.
  2. Ensure timely production of interim valuations and preparation of Final Accounts.
  3. Identify, quantify, and notify contract variations, and maintain the Contract Change Control Register.
  4. Manage and control sub-contract and suppliers accounts in line with agreed terms and conditions.
  5. Implement and provide cost-related information to measure project performance against set targets.
  6. Comply with established Contract control procedures to maximize project income and profitability.
  7. Prepare and present relevant commercial and financial information.
  8. Prepare claim documentation.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  2. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Desirable: Civil or Groundworks project experience.
