Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join a vibrant secondary school in Portsmouth as a Long-Term Cover Supervisor. This full-time position offers a competitive daily rate and the chance to make a significant impact in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
  • Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and maintain high standards of education.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A strong interest in education and a desire to inspire and support young people.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK.
