Position Title – Project Accountant

Location – Brighton, UK

Onsite Work Requirement: Expected for a minimum of 4 days per week.

Role Responsibilities

The Project Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Cost accounting and financial control for programs
  • Analyzing financial performance and communicating results to key stakeholders
  • Providing project accounting and financial analysis, including Earned Value Management (EVM) as necessary
  • Conducting revenue accounting and financial analysis
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting based on inputs from Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
  • Delivering financial actuals to support IPT planning and pricing of products and services
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and developing financial scenarios to assist leadership in cost management
  • Creating financial performance metrics in line with governance and IPT requirements
  • Ensuring payments are received by the organization
  • Developing cost and pricing models for proposals in response to customer requests
  • Managing program finances within company systems, including bid costs and sales forecasts

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a Project Finance role
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
