Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the requirements of the business are fulfilled within the designated commodity, following established procedures for efficient management of indirect spending.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and consolidation within indirect categories while upholding quality and service standards.
  • Enhance and maintain a dependable and sustainable supply chain for alternatively sourced components and services.
  • Evaluate proposals and tenders, oversee contract maintenance, and manage documentation related to orders and deliveries.
  • Conduct analysis of current expenditures, targeting cost savings that align with business performance indicators, and provide necessary reporting updates.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in a hands-on procurement position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in indirect procurement.
  • Familiarity with MRP/APS systems.
