About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst to join our team at BSI. As a PMO Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all BSI projects and programs are managed in accordance with BSI standards and processes for project, program, and portfolio governance and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project managers, program managers, and accountable executives on how to deliver based on appropriate frameworks and best practices.
  • Apply governance and control techniques to projects and programs to ensure adherence to relevant frameworks, processes, and standards.
  • Support the development, implementation, and embedding of all PMO services in line with best practices.
  • Advise and support project and program managers on cadence and rhythm for all governance activities.
  • Work with the Finance team to maintain a keen understanding of BSI's standards and processes for project and program budgeting and project accounting.
  • Champion and support best practices for project and program managers in the identification of risks and issues, ensuring these are recorded, tracked, monitored, and communicated appropriately.
  • Establish and maintain portfolio-level reporting and governance, working with all project and program managers, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting, offering insight and intelligence to IT and business stakeholders, along with a strong but adaptable adherence to governance protocols.
  • Track and deliver regular project/program interventions, such as health checks and audits, as required, and share lessons learned from such events with all PMO and program members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a PMO role.
  • Experience working within a PMO business where the function is still maturing.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking individual.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear communication and ability to tailor their approach depending on the stakeholder.
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
  • PMO IT experience is desirable.
  • Portfolio and project management tools and SDLC experience.
