We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at a 2-bedded service in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Support Workers and ensuring the well-being of young people with mental health issues and emotional and behavioural disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support to young people
- Develop and implement activities to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of young people
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment for young people
- Provide coaching and guidance to Support Workers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in residential childcare
- QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Ability to work on a rota basis and undertake sleep-in duties
- Full UK driving licence
