Senior Finance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at the Rowan Learning Trust. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our schools.

About the Role

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the finance function across three secondary schools, providing financial guidance and support to school leaders and finance teams. You will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance function across three secondary schools
  • Provide financial guidance and support to school leaders and finance teams
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Trust CFO and other stakeholders to ensure financial stability and success
Requirements
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent
  • Professional finance background, including management experience in school/academy finance
  • Experience with purchase orders, sales invoices, and monthly reconciliations
  • Strong IT skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
