Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Job Summary:

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to manage and deliver electrical works on our clients' social housing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of operatives, managing material stock control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and organize operatives daily to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Manage and control all aspects of material stock control, including distribution and inventory management.
  • Verify all paperwork, certificates, timecards, and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Schedule all works ready for invoicing, taking into account contract-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, including risk assessments, method statements, and PPE usage.
  • Conduct quality engineer checks to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Meet deadlines and deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in other roles and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in all aspects of the electrical trade, qualified to NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level.
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering domestic and commercial electrical work, including emergency lighting.
  • JIB Managers/Gold Card.
  • 18th Edition/City and Guilds Level 3 Electrical & 2391 Inspection and Testing.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of an established team.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problems.
  • Motivated and results-driven.
  • Ability to act quickly and decisively.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Full driving license essential.
