TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading accountancy practice in Faversham, Kent, in their search for a Personal Tax Manager to join their successful tax team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly respected firm where you will have the autonomy to manage complex tax affairs, work with an experienced team, and enjoy excellent progression prospects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal tax, with experience in managing a portfolio of clients with complex tax affairs, including UK individuals, HNWIs, and trusts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing tax planning projects, such as non-domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts, and capital gains and inheritance tax issues
- Reviewing and completing complex tax returns
- Overseeing the compliance function and ensuring all deadlines are met
- Managing HMRC enquiries and dealing with HMRC correspondence
- Mentoring junior staff members and supporting the Directors with the growth and development of the tax department
Requirements:
- CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified
- Experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm

The successful candidate will be a qualified tax professional with significant experience in a tax role within a practice environment, confident in a client-facing role, and possessing strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance.
