Job Title: Tax Advisory Manager

Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Manager to join our team. As a Tax Advisory Manager, you will play a key role in providing expert tax advice to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with HMRC on clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters
  • Draft reports and letters of advice on tax advisory issues
  • Prepare calculations to support tax advice
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings with team members
  • Train and review the work of junior team members
  • Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
  • Advise on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemes
  • Advise on remuneration planning and succession planning strategies for owner-managed businesses
  • Prepare research & development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns
  • Advise individuals on inheritance tax (IHT) planning and capital gains tax (CGT) mitigation
  • Review corporate tax computations and returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
  • Essential experience in corporate taxes
  • AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified, with a willingness to pursue CTA certification
  • Knowledge in other areas of tax is beneficial
  • Excellent teamwork abilities and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge
