Job Opportunity
Hobson Prior is seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our dynamic commercial team. This role focuses on managing the product lifecycle, defining product improvements, and translating business strategy into product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal product performance.
- Identify and prioritize beneficial product improvements, leveraging market trends and customer feedback.
- Translate business strategy into product development roadmaps, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Define customer requirements and develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing and volume forecasts, to drive revenue growth.
- Deliver engaging talks, webinars, and provide commercial training to distributors and partners, enhancing their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Create marketing and sales tools for various stakeholders, including product datasheets, brochures, and sales presentations.
- Ensure successful ROI for product development through KPI tracking and data analysis, informing future product decisions.
- Conduct competitor analysis and understand the market landscape, identifying opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Define core value propositions for the technology, highlighting its unique benefits and competitive advantages.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Scientific knowledge or direct PAT sensor experience, with a strong understanding of the biotechnology industry and bioprocessing solutions.
- Product-related experience, with a proven track record of managing product lifecycles and driving product development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences and convey complex information effectively.
- Scientific writing skills are beneficial, with the ability to create clear and concise product documentation.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, with a flexible approach to work and a strong work ethic.
