About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at Novus Property Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing safety management systems, policies, and procedures that ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SHEA management systems, including policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Host and run SHEA Committee meetings to discuss performance, identify trends, and set targets.
  • Develop training programs to provide additional support to operations and ensure SHEA inductions and mandatory training needs are met.
  • Work in partnership with operational teams to create a positive and proactive safety culture.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications, including NEBOSH (General Construction), IOSH Member (desirable), Asbestos Awareness, Scaffold Inspection, P405, and Environmental qualifications advantageous.
  • Experience working with a partnered approach to Safety, along with the ability to lead an ambitious team.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to using new software.
