Senior Engineer, Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer, Safety to contribute to our client's Safety and Environment team in the UK. In this role, you will advise on HSE regulatory compliance and potentially act as the Project Discipline Leader (PDL) on individual projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project safety deliverables, including HSE Plans, HSE Philosophy, and Terms of Reference for Safety workshops.
  • Attend and contribute to safety workshops such as HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, and SIL.
  • Manage and sign off on safety actions.
  • Act as PDL for UK projects, ensuring timely delivery of project schedules.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience working on energy projects, including oil and gas design projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to produce high-quality deliverables on schedule.
  • Experience in writing HSE Plans and Philosophies.
  • Experience in Safety Cases and working on CDM and decommissioning projects.
  • Knowledge of CCS projects and attending safety workshops (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL/ALARP).
  • Experience in conducting site surveys and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working on multinational FEED projects.
