Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional management and clinical supervision to Psychologists and Psychological Therapists, as well as developing and implementing psychological therapies for clients with complex mental health issues.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service that is committed to delivering high-quality care to individuals with psychosis. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing, formulating, and intervening with clients, as well as providing training and supervision to junior staff. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the service, including the recruitment of psychology staff and the development of psychological provision for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional management and clinical supervision to Psychologists and Psychological Therapists
  • Develop and implement psychological therapies for clients with complex mental health issues
  • Contribute to the development of the service, including the recruitment of psychology staff and the development of psychological provision for clients

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist who has a strong background in working with clients with psychosis. You will need to have a postgraduate doctorate in clinical psychology and experience of working in an Early Intervention in Psychosis service. You will also need to have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Psychosis (CBTp) and experience of providing supervision to junior staff.
