About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the West Kent Rehabilitation service based in Tonbridge. As a Physiotherapist, you will work with adults who have a wide range of physical, medical, or developmental problems affecting their ability to achieve and maintain a level of independence and safety that allows them to remain in the community or return home following rehabilitation at a community hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality rehabilitation services to adults with complex social needs and complex moving and handling needs.
  • Conduct complex discharge planning for patients with complex social needs.
  • Support junior staff and therapy assistants in the development of the team.
  • Provide support for colleagues across sites, requiring a driving license and a car.

Person Specification
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of having worked with adults with multiple comorbidities, with complex social situations
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience
  • Evidence of working with older people in relation to physical rehabilitation
  • Evidence of working within a team, extending to OTs, nurses, Drs, and the wider team
