Job Summary:

Rappahannock Community College seeks a qualified Manufacturing Adjunct Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for developing and teaching courses in technical subjects, including Mechatronics, Industrial Safety, PLCs, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Fluid Power, and Process Control.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach courses to serve the needs of local manufacturers
  • Master and teach content using Amatrol class materials and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Build relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
  • Considerable relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Creativity and ability to think critically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in a manufacturing setting
  • Associate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field
