Luxury Retail Sales Assistant

This is an established luxury retail company that values its employees and is seeking a Sales Assistant to join its team at Heathrow Airport.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a retail sales assistant or in the hospitality industry and be well-presented. They will also be required to live at a commutable distance to Heathrow Airport.

The Sales Assistant will work on a shift basis, with early shift starts at 5:30am and late shifts ending at 10:30pm. The contractual hours are 37.5 hours per week, with a basic salary of £23,400 per annum, plus commission and performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service and sales assistance to customers
  • Working as part of a team to achieve sales targets and company objectives
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and being able to advise customers on products
  • Handling customer transactions and operating a cash register
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and being able to multitask

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a retail sales assistant or in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • High level of product knowledge and ability to advise customers
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use a cash register
