Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative English Language Educator who will motivate and support learners to reach their highest potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing a dynamic and engaging curriculum that aligns with the objectives outlined in the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Key Responsibilities
This role entails a permanent full-time commitment, working 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday under the guidance of the Line Manager. The primary responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering a creative curriculum that fosters student engagement and achievement.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational practices and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Requirements
This position involves Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as defined by the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Candidates must be willing to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update if already a member, prior to receiving a formal employment offer.
Important Information
The full-time salary for this position ranges from £38,000 to £48,000 per annum. It is essential to provide at least two relevant references during the application process, one of which must be from a current or recent employer in a senior management role.
