Position Overview: Event Operations Manager

This is a rare opportunity for a dedicated professional with a background in luxury event management.

As the Event Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of our distinguished venue, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly. You will lead a team committed to providing exceptional service, consistently exceeding the expectations of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Utilize your strong food and beverage management experience to deliver high-quality events, ensuring each occasion is personalized to meet client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Central Event Sales Team to ensure seamless execution from initial inquiry to event completion.
  • Financial Management: Monitor payroll expenses in alignment with budgetary guidelines and forecasts.
  • Tastings and Tours: Collaborate with the Head Chef and Central Event Sales Team to provide prospective clients with a preview of their event experience.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Conduct daily inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Security Management: Maintain strict inventory control and oversee venue security, particularly during non-event periods.

Team Leadership: Support the housekeeping staff, maintenance team, and food & beverage personnel in achieving outstanding service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior food and beverage management role within a luxury venue.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-volume events.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in food and beverage management, including gross profit and payroll oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and functionality.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
