Creative Support is a national, rapidly expanding non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals with diverse care needs. We are currently seeking compassionate and proactive Relief Support Workers to join our team within a supported living service in Wolverhampton.

We are looking for warm, caring, and proactive individuals to provide person-centered care and support. The service offers long-term support with a recovery focus for people experiencing mental health challenges within a 24-hour environment. We seek an enthusiastic and flexible team member who can work independently and effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered support, including practical and emotional assistance to residents in our Wolverhampton service. Your role will involve helping service users lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. The service is a large 36-flat building comprising both general needs flats and units where individuals receive one-to-one support such as daily living skills training, health reminders, medication prompts, and practical and emotional guidance to foster independent living.

You will be part of a friendly and dedicated team of Support Workers, collaborating closely with colleagues to address and resolve any issues that arise.

Relief Support Worker Duties:
  • Provide practical and emotional support to service users
  • Assist individuals with cooking, cleaning, housework, and other essential life skills
  • Develop and maintain warm and trusting relationships with service users
  • Carry out general administrative duties

Previous experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is essential for this Relief Support Worker role.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to select shifts in any area of the country and receive information about services and shifts, including directions. You will be paid weekly.
