About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Workonblockchain. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex AI-based systems using C++ and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Edge computing and IoT applications for processing vision data and communication layers for compute-constrained edge devices.
  • Deploy Machine Learning models to production and optimize platform runtime performance, mainly in C++ with parts running on GPU.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Work closely with the development team to design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including OOP, Data Structures, and Design Patterns.
  • Advanced level C++ skills, including multithreading and knowledge of C++20.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with integrating Machine Learning models using PyTorch.
  • Experience with Edge/IoT computing and Machine Learning.
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or a similar relevant discipline from a top-tier university.
