London Greater, United Kingdom YOUTH ENDOWMENT FUND CHARITABLE TRUST Full time

Position: Youth Endowment Fund Programme Manager

The mission of our organization is to avert the involvement of children and adolescents in violence. We achieve this by researching effective strategies and fostering a movement to implement this knowledge in practical ways.

Critical to our success is the selection of projects for funding and evaluation, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards in our financial support and assessments. Our Programme Managers play a vital role in identifying, evaluating, financing, and assisting initiatives aimed at curbing youth violence.

We seek individuals with diverse expertise, particularly those with backgrounds in youth services, law enforcement, criminal justice, education, or community engagement. If you possess specialized knowledge in any of these areas, we encourage you to highlight this in your application.

As a Programme Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Evaluating funding proposals by rigorously assessing delivery strategies and financial plans, engaging with potential grantees, and conducting site evaluations.
  • Collaborating closely with grantees, external evaluators, and our internal evaluation team to ensure that funded activities are suitable for assessment.
  • Being mindful of our organization's commitments to racial equity in funding and ensuring accountability for both ourselves and our grantees in achieving these objectives.
