Customer Service Manager

XCT Trains Limited is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service teams in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct customer service teams to deliver excellent service to customers, ensuring a safe and risk-free environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage and lead the delivery of excellent revenue protection in line with business strategy and commercial considerations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including train managers, catering, revenue protection, cash handling, station access contracts, station operations, and train cleaning teams.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, directives, and codes of practice.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Sound understanding of the dimensions of the role, including cash handling and management.
  • Ability to present statistical data and challenge existing practices.
  • Qualified in catering hygiene.
