Principal Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java SpringBoot AWS Microservices)

As a Principal Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the architecture, design, development, and execution of transformative projects for clients, particularly in the financial services industry. Your focus will be on facilitating the transition from legacy systems to AWS, alongside implementing CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a balance between remote work and office presence, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team atmosphere.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer with a solid grasp of industry best practices, particularly in financial services.
  • Proficiency in Java 8+ with a strong understanding of multi-threading and concurrency.
  • Experience with SpringBoot and microservices architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS and its services.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development principles and Computer Science fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of Web and Architectural patterns, including SOLID principles.
  • Appreciation for DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based software deployment.
