AI Software Engineer / Developer (Java SpringBoot) Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join our team in London, working on cutting-edge AI technology. As an AI champion, you will design and implement the underlying application layer to expose and encapsulate fundamental Generative AI capabilities, facilitating scalability and the adoption of AI.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement AI software solutions using Java and SpringBoot
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to introduce cutting-edge AI technology
  • Act as an AI champion within the wider technology team, keeping up with the latest advancements and providing mentoring to other engineers
  • Work on a cross-functional team to develop and implement AI systems and architecture

About You:

  • Commercial experience of working with AI and Generative AI concepts
  • Strong backend web development experience with Java and SpringBoot
  • Technical project leadership and mentoring experience
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging, event sourcing, and Kafka
  • Test-driven approach, TDD, Agile methodologies, and processes
