Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Musical Theatre Department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. The successful candidate will assist the Programme Leaders in coordinating faculty activities, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Programme Leaders and faculty members
  • Coordinate a range of faculty activities, including events, meetings, and projects
  • Assist with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Manage departmental records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external partners

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven administrative experience, with a strong understanding of office procedures and systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • A passion for musical theatre and a commitment to delivering high-quality administrative support

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, with a daily lunch break of one hour. Some evening and weekend working may be required.
