We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Setting the Standard Inspection Officer to join our team at AD WARRIOR. As a key member of our Commissioning Alliance, you will play a vital role in delivering a pan-London housing standards & inspection service.


Key Responsibilities


  • Regularly inspect Temporary Accommodation, focusing on Bed & Breakfasts and Studio Apartments used to house vulnerable people/families.
  • Ensure compliance with housing standards and regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for improving housing standards and reducing non-compliance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, documenting findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, housing providers, and other relevant parties.

Requirements


  • Proven experience in housing standards and inspection, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
