Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?

We are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work with children with Autism, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, Dyslexia, ADHD, and SEMH in schools across Swadlincote and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction
  • Follow individualised support plans to help children achieve their full potential
  • Support teachers in the classroom, including marking and delivering lessons

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or TA course)
  • Experience working with children with special needs in a school or educational setting
  • Additional SEN training certificates (such as MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach)
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs
