Academy Content Officer

LAMDA, a world-class drama school and educational charity, is seeking a highly skilled Academy Content Officer to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional vocational training in the performing arts.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds and possess proven administrative experience in planning and delivering activities for young people, preferably in an educational setting.
We are committed to widening participation and operate a robust scholarship scheme, awarding significant support to one in five full-time students each year. The successful post holder will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a willingness to work flexibly, including on weekends and evenings, and travel to different locations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement content strategies to support the organization's mission and goals.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver activities for young people, including workshops, performances, and educational programs.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including coordinating events, managing databases, and maintaining records.
- Work closely with the scholarship team to ensure the successful implementation of the scholarship scheme.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, and community partners.
- Previous experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven administrative experience in planning and delivering activities for young people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including on weekends and evenings, and travel to different locations across the UK.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
