Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator within the Urology service at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the seamless management of patient pathways within the Urology service.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with patients and staff.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above.
  • Computer literate with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of NHS or service provider in general.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes.
  • Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems.
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection.
  • Health and Safety.
  • Equality and diversity.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures.
  • Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems - As applicable to speciality.
  • Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above.
  • RSA II (or equivalent).
Further Training
  • On the job training.
  • Supervisory training.
  • Experience of managing health & safety issues.
Contractual Requirements
  • Regular attendance and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
