Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Audiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert audiological assessments and interventions to patients, with a focus on maintaining clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality audiological services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology and apply evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
  • Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the audiology team, supporting a positive team culture and contributing to the professional development of the team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Significant post-degree experience in audiology with a specialist interest in pediatric audiology.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Autonomous, self-directed practitioner with the ability to complete duties and responsibilities without direct supervision.
  • BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification and registration with the HCPC or AHCS.
