Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize insights and digital proficiency to propel cross-platform revenue growth through consumer behavior analysis, trend identification, and competitive landscape understanding.
  • Work in partnership with senior leadership to effectively implement global strategies within the UK.
  • Transform existing sales strategies and introduce new, innovative approaches across all platforms, emphasizing digital initiatives.
  • Oversee a senior team of Heads of Industry managing key sectors such as Fashion, Beauty & Luxury, Travel, Home, BizFiTech, Media, Entertainment & Auto.
  • Ensure the Commercial sales teams maintain a strong focus on data analytics to establish team and individual performance metrics.
  • Enhance the overall commercial sales function, setting new standards for excellence and achievement.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients and agencies, while strengthening ties with key stakeholders to boost renewal rates and drive new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with Editorial and Creative teams to ensure content alignment and successful cross-platform program execution.
  • Work alongside Editorial leadership to deliver profitable, world-class events that align with brand vision while exploring new opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, respect, and excellence while developing talent within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading a commercial sales function within the media sector.
  • Extensive experience in commercial revenue generation with a successful track record of transforming and driving revenue across multiple platforms in a global context.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to people management and a history of building high-performing commercial teams, particularly in digital.
  • A creative and engaging leader who fosters an inclusive and empowering workplace.
  • Experience in shaping and implementing global commercial strategies within the media and publishing industries.
  • A strong network within the media landscape.
  • A self-motivated individual with high energy and outstanding presentation, creative, and analytical capabilities.
  • A deep passion and understanding of Condé Nast's brands.
