Job Summary:

Sphere Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee building services packages for on-site construction projects. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in landmark projects, covering commercial, industrial, and public sector build schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all engineering services, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Oversee resource allocation and supply chain management for building services packages.
  • Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects, with a focus on cost reporting and procurement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
  • Compile and present operating and maintenance manuals for building services systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • BTEC or HNC in Building Services, IOSH, CSCS, SMSTS certifications.
  • Proven experience in managing building services/M&E packages, with a track record of on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Strong management skills, including procurement, labor, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to manage contract costs and variations, with a focus on projects over £2m.
  • Excellent health and safety management skills, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
  • Full UK driving license and British nationality.
