Welcome to Bath is seeking a skilled Caseworker (Home Care) to join our team. As a Caseworker, you will play a vital role in supporting disadvantaged households in need of energy assistance.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a salary range of £25,953 – £28,520. You will be entitled to 25 days of paid holiday (plus statutory holidays) and a range of benefits, including salary sacrifice childcare vouchers and subsidised bike purchases.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with households in need of energy assistance and provide support to improve their wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Deliver talks and training to professional staff, community groups, and the public on fuel poverty and how to refer to further services.
- Attend outreach events and support households over a period if there are several issues to be resolved.
- Deliver complex casework and home visits with minimal support.
- Support CSE volunteers and interns.
- Maintain appropriate client confidentiality following relevant policies and procedures.
- Minimum Maths and English GCSE.
- Experience in giving advice and customer service.
- Experience taking the lead on the delivery and coordination of project-based activity.
- Experience managing a caseload.
- Ability to respond to vulnerable clients in a respectful and engaging manner.
- Highly organised at managing time and workload.
- Ability to present complex information in an accessible and appropriate manner.
- Able to work independently and use own initiative.
