Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary Oncology team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients with lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with lung cancer and other respiratory conditions
- Administer medications and complete risk assessments as required
- Support the medical and specialist teams in devising holistic patient-led plans of care
- Facilitate timely discharges and provide training to junior staff and students
- Work collaboratively with allied specialist staff to provide palliative care and support
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing studies
- GCSE English or equivalent
- Experience working in Pulmonary Oncology or a related specialty
- Ability to supervise and support junior staff and students
