We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Multi Academy Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial, administrative, and operational aspects of school management.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Manage orders, invoices, and payments using our finance software, ensuring adherence to correct financial procedures.
- Asset Management and Financial Compliance: Maintain the asset register, establish appropriate filing systems for audits, and manage the Petty Cash account.
- Monthly Reporting and Forecasting: Produce monthly management accounts.
- Staff Support and Compliance: Provide financial advice to budget holders, monitor payroll reports and discrepancies, and ensure staff compliance with financial regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a finance background, AAT qualified as a minimum, with experience of working in a busy finance office. This is a full-time position, all year round, based on site in school, with the opportunity to work more flexibly in school holidays.
