Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Reed. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance processes, including corporation tax, VAT, and plastics tax, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of tax compliance processes, including corporation tax, VAT, and plastics tax.
  • Oversee the monthly group and annual statutory accounts reporting process as it relates to tax.
  • Assist with tax enquiries or queries from HMRC.
  • Provide tax guidance, advice, and support across all taxes to the business and wider organisation.
  • Prepare and submit the annual PSA with assistance from an external provider.
  • Engage in various ad hoc tasks, projects, and transactions, including tax governance-related issues.
  • Implement global tax policies, including transfer pricing.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a multinational company within a tax function or finance area with exposure to taxes, or from an accounting and tax services advisory firm.
  • Professional qualifications in accounting and/or tax.
  • Good understanding of corporation tax and VAT.
  • Experience in transfer pricing, UK R&D, and Irish taxes would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently within guidelines and policies, with minimal guidance.
